What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Lead position at Gridiron IT?
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Planning : Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company growth targets and expand J3 Consulting’s presence in the federal marketplace.
- Market Analysis : Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and competitive threats. Use this information to inform business development strategies and decision-making.
- Client Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within federal agencies and other potential clients. Understand their needs and align J3 Consulting’s offerings to meet those needs.
- Opportunity Identification : Identify and qualify new business opportunities through various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, and market research.
- Proposal Development : Lead the development of high-quality proposals and responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure proposals are compelling and compliant.
- Partnership Development : Identify and establish partnerships with other companies and organizations that can enhance J3 Consulting’s service offerings and market position.
- Performance Metrics : Track and report on business development activities, pipeline status, and key performance indicators. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress and outcomes.
- Industry Engagement : Represent J3 Consulting at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation within the federal contracting community.
