Substitute Teacher (K-12)

Must provide the following:-Verification of clearance with BCOE Clearinghouse-Substitute 30-Day Permit or other CA teaching credential-Completed EdJoin Application-CBEST verification or equivalent-Verification of TB clearance

If you have not cleared through the BCOE Clearinghouse, you may complete the Substitute Interest form at https://www.bcoe.org/Human-Resources/Substitutes/Certificated-Subs/index.html or contact the credential analysts at BCOE at (530) 532-5924 to set up an appointment. Walk-ins are not accepted. You will be contacted via email with further instructions once you are added on the sub list. The Certificated Substitute rate is as follows: Regular day-to-day subbing: $25.71 hourly (working a full 7-hour day is $179.97) Long-term subbing (21 consecutive work days in the same assignment/classroom): $28.57 hourly (working a full 7-hour day is $199.99)

The Gridley Unified School District is seeking certificated substitutes to serve on as needed basis. Must be registered with the Butte County Office of Education. GUSD is located 30-miles south of Chico and serves approximately 2000 K-12 students on five school campuses.
