Landscape Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces and possess a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves working both independently and as part of a team to ensure the highest standards of groundskeeping are met.

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns to promote healthy growth.
• Irrigate gardens and lawns efficiently to ensure optimal water usage and plant health.
• Build and maintain garden beds, ensuring proper soil conditions and plant selection.
• Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and leadership during landscaping projects.
• Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
• Implement pest control measures as needed to protect plants and maintain aesthetics.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences.

Skills

• Proficient in groundskeeping techniques with a focus on landscape maintenance.
• Strong leadership skills to effectively supervise team members.
• Knowledgeable in lawn care practices, including fertilization, aeration, and weed control.
• Ability to build garden structures such as raised beds or decorative features.
• Experience in irrigating systems and understanding water management for landscapes.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality results in all landscaping tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
