Job Description
7 Day Fortnight (Weekday 8AM-8PM, Weekend 8AM-6PM)
To support our Digital Cinema and other departments, the Content Services & Mastering Operator will be working on localising feature films and trailers for major Hollywood studios. This includes but is not limited to :
- Feature and Trailer mastering and versioning
- Media files and downstream deliverables creation
- Quality control, metadata checks, and file validation
- Creating censor cuts with audio mutes and edits
- Colour space and frame rate conversion
- Basic troubleshooting
- UAT of proprietary and 3rd party software tools and applications
- Liaising on priorities with account management and providing feedback as required
- Handling all associated data entry related to work orders
- Adhering to strict security policies
The person we are looking for
The perfect candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in digital cinema, home entertainment mastering, post-production, or QC. They should be able to edit audio, spot, and identify issues with content. They should have a good understanding of file formats and codecs, aspect ratios, colour spaces, frame rates, and digital cinema standards. We are interested in someone who has great work ethics and is willing to learn and progress within the company. This position requires some experience; however, training will be provided.
