What You’ll Do
- Manage existing accounts and develop new customer relationships within your assigned territory.
- Showcase our wide range of horticultural products, including plants and supplies, through engaging demos.
- Process orders, provide delivery estimates, and track customer interactions using CRM and order entry systems (Prelude).
- Address product inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure timely follow-ups to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through effective territory management, quoting prices, and preparing contracts.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Horticulture, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years in sales, ideally in horticulture or related industries. Previous experience in territory sales and customer relationship management is a plus.
- Familiarity with horticultural products (plants, supplies, etc.) is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, the ability to close deals, and excellent customer service.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel frequently within your assigned territory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. Experience with Prelude or similar systems is a bonus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record; ability to travel for customer visits and deliveries.
