What You’ll Do:
- Update and maintain the minimum germination list, test history database, and blocked seed list. Ensure seed stock meets quality standards and industry regulations.
- Process seed invoices, returns, and claims, ensuring accurate and timely payments and tracking of credits. Work closely with vendors to resolve issues and ensure prompt resolution.
- Work with Buyers, Seed Operations, and vendors to create and release processing work orders. Assist the Seed Operations team with receiving seed, conducting inventory counts, and performing warehouse duties as needed.
- Perform data entry, process paperwork, and maintain accurate records. Help manage seed storage, packaging, and shipping operations.
- During peak seasons, provide backup support to the Seed Operations Assistant Manager and collaborate with various departments to meet business needs.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in administrative, business support, or operations roles (preferably in seed or agricultural industries).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including macros) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, and financial statements).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with vendors, colleagues, and customers.
- Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Exceptional time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset to identify trends, troubleshoot problems, and provide data-driven insights.

The salary for this role will be determined based on various factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is between $17 and $19 and may be adjusted in the future. In addition, this position is eligible for comprehensive benefits, including health, disability, life, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
