What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Student Coordinator position at Griffin Health Brand?
MAIN FUNCTION: Under direction of the Medical Student Program Director (MSPD), the Medical Student Coordinator performs administrative tasks necessary for the effective operation of medical students on the Griffin Hospital campus. The Medical Student Coordinator is the primary point of contact with many internal and external organizations and individuals, community leaders, etc. The Medical Student Coordinator may represent the MSPD at meetings, events, and special functions.
Other duties include providing clerical support to other departments as assigned by the division vice president.
EDUCATION: High School diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 3 years’ experience working with medical students or in medical education training programs required.
