Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Intern to join our dynamic sales team at News 9. This internship provides hands-on experience in media sales and client relations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn about the media industry and assist in various aspects of sales operations while gaining valuable professional experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team in developing and executing sales strategies to attract new clients.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify potential advertising opportunities.
- Support account executives with client proposals, presentations, and reports.
- Maintain accurate and updated client databases and sales records.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings with clients and internal teams.
- Observe and participate in sales calls and client meetings to gain firsthand experience.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, preparing reports, and organizing files.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Schedule: This is an unpaid internship for college credit. We are flexible on schedule, but you must meet your school’s hour requirement for credits. Internships are available for Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.

Skills and Requirements:
- GPA of 2.75 or above
- Intern must have completed 60 credit hours toward their degree. Copy of official transcript must be uploaded with application.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
