Job Description:

The General Manager for a Plasma Collection Center will have overall responsibility for the center's operation, working under general occasional guidance and oversight of regional management. The primary responsibilities include meeting quarterly goals, staffing, hours per labor efficiency standards, cost per liter (CPL) targets, and quality key performance indicators (KPI) goals.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Create an organizational environment that stimulates employee morale and productivity.
- Operate the center with high ethical standards and integrity.
- Manage staff to ensure training and quality goals are met and implement operational changes to maximize center efficiency.
- Direct employees, monitor operations, and develop action plans to optimize center efficiency.
- Manage headcount to provide efficient staffing during high and low production intervals.
- Oversee all personnel functions, including hiring, assignment, development, training, disciplinary actions, termination, and maintenance of personnel records.
- Provide strategic direction and planning.
Other Responsibilities:
- Act as a mentor to assigned teams and other centers.
- Oversee donor selection, plasma collection, and shipment through the Assistant Manager.
- Ensure adequate training of production employees and maintain equipment in good working order.
- Manage inventory of goods and supplies necessary for center operations.
- Maintain the facility in a neat and clean condition and address freezer alarms and issues.
- Submit timely and accurate reports on a daily or weekly basis.
- Develop community representation for public relations and marketing campaigns.
- Maintain thorough familiarity with state and federal regulations, FDA-approved Standard Operating Procedures, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, such as science, business, nursing, finance, or a related field.
- Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience in clinical or general business experience.
- Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
- Prior management experience, preferably supervising a group of 20 or more employees.
- Experience in a medical and/or cGMP regulated environment is preferred.
