Grifols is seeking a skilled and compassionate nursing professional to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our donors and contributing to the success of our plasma donation centers.
Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, evaluating donor suitability, and providing education on health and wellness. You will also develop and maintain relationships with donors, maintain confidentiality, and identify and address potential hazards.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough medical evaluations and assessments
- Build strong relationships with donors to ensure their satisfaction and well-being
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proactively identify and address potential hazards
- Provide expert education on general health and wellness and counsel donors on unacceptable test results
- Investigate and manage donor injuries and adverse events
- Assess donor suitability based on medical history and current conditions
- Support employee training and development programs
Requirements:
Current licensure and certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocation Nurse, with CPR certification required.
