Grillo’s Pickles is a Boston-native company founded in 2008. Over the past 15 years, we have grown from selling our 100-year-old pickle recipe out of a handmade pickle cart on the streets of Boston to a nationwide brand with passionate fans across all corners of the US. Now part of the Irresistible Foods Group (IFG) along with King’s Hawaiian and Shaka Tea, we are continuing to redefine the pickle category and show the world that good is not good enough. About the Role

The Experiential Marketing Associate will work with the entire Grillo’s Gang in many different roles. This is a highly visible role reporting to the VP of Brand. In this role, you will manage and coordinate Grillo’s experiential events and serve as one of the primary faces of the brand while activating at high-exposure events. You will need to prioritize, be organized and be an independent worker. You will be a vital member of the Grillo’s Team, responsible for supporting our entire team.

Responsibilities : Planning

  • Lead development of event strategy.
  • Build event timelines to include all aspects of preparation, execution, and post-event activities.
  • Develop project and creative briefs as necessary to support event(s).
  • Serve as a thought leader in leveraging experiential marketing to deliver against brand promise.
  • Coordinate activities with broader marketing team to ensure maximum impact (i.e. Creative, Social, Brand).
  • Event Support

  • Travel to events and lead set up, execution, and tear down.
  • Coordinate with partners, properties, brand ambassadors, influencers, etc. before, during, and after events.
  • Manage all VIP visitors at any events.
  • Proactively problem solve any on-site issues.
  • Proactively work with Grillo’s Merch team to support events with merch as needed.
  • Relationship Support

  • Develop and Manage relationship with key partners and properties.
  • Develop network of brand ambassadors to leverage as needed.
  • Communicate with applicable IFG entities to ensure optimal execution (i.e. Foodservice Sales).
  • Content Support

  • Partner with social team to ensure appropriate content is captured, created and posted in support of experiential efforts.
  • Qualifications

  • Alignment with Grillo’s positive vibes and an appreciation for working in an environment where these behaviors flourish.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • Entry-level role with desire to move into a Marketing or Sales career path.
  • Independent and hard working not afraid to tackle any office project.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to self-prioritize and deliver against competing concurrent projects.
  • Superb communication and collaboration skills (including listening) and the ability to articulate ideas and voice constructive opinions.
  • Based in Westwood, MA (south of Boston).
  • Travel / Offsite : 50%
