Position Overview
As the local US People Partner, you will be part of Grip's Global HR team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the organization's success by hiring and retaining top talent. Your responsibilities will cover a wide range of HR functions, including but not limited to talent acquisition, onboarding and offboarding, process building, managerial coaching, employee experience, and facilitating the growth and development of our workforce. You will collaborate with many different functions across the US and Tel Aviv sites, from executives to individual contributors. The expectation is to adhere to HR best practices and maintain a positive experience for both candidates and employees alike.

Please note that this role is a Boston-based maternity leave cover, eligible for employment for 5-9 months.
Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition:
- Partner with hiring managers to assess their needs for new team members and create adequate job descriptions that precisely capture the role
- Conduct compensation benchmarks
- Leverage different channels to bring in qualified talent
- Set up interviews and make sure processes are moving forward in a timely manner
- Conduct HR interviews with advanced candidates
- Maintain ATS hygiene
- Run the hiring process from A to Z, from sourcing to sending employment agreements
- Act with a sense of urgency without compromising quality of talent
2. Employee Lifecycle - On-boarding to Off-boarding:
- Own the onboarding process from when a candidate is hired through their first day orientation
- Partner with IT and complete all necessary onboarding tasks through our HRIS, HiBob, prior to a new employee’s start date
- Assist new hires get settled in Grip smoothly, making sure they feel at home from Day 1
- Invest time in conveying our company culture, values, and policies to new employees
- Oversee the off-boarding process when an employee departs from the company
3. HR Administration:
- Keep all the HR records up to date
- Maintain accuracy in both our HRIS, HiBob, and our PEO, Trinet
- Initiate and contribute to various HR projects to improve Grip’s ongoing operations
- Assist our Finance team in managing payroll
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for employees regarding health care benefits, vacation policies, and employment laws
4. Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Enable our work environment to be productive and set up for success
- Work closely with the HR and Finance teams in Israel to ensure there’s synchronization in processes and how we operate
- Always be available to US employees should any questions or HR needs come up
- Partner to resolve issues that arise between team members or dilemmas managers face, ensuring a healthy working environment
- Keep the team connected while working remotely by planning creative activities and virtual team-building events
- Implement and support managers with our feedback processes across the US
Requirements
- At least 2 years of proven experience in HR and talent acquisition, preferably in hyper-growth startup environments
- Boston-based, eager to work in a hybrid model, and willing to come into the office 3 times per week
- Open to a temporary maternity leave cover position
- Prior experience working with HRIS, ATS, and PEO systems – We use HiBob, Comeet, and Trinet
- Familiarity with and ability to implement best HR practices
- Knowledge of relevant employment laws, compliance, and regulations in different US states
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
