What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cannabis Extraction Tech position at GritHR Solutions, LLC?

Job Description

The primary objective for this position is to operate, clean and maintain cannabis extraction equipment. Extraction Technicians will be able to follow directions and act safely and professionally in the lab setting.

Key accountabilities :

Adhere to SOPs
Assist with cannabis extraction preparation, winterization, and filtration
Able to proficiently handle the following hazardous materials; butane, propane, ethanol, pentane, isopropyl alcohol, critically hot material, cryogenic cold material
Routine and Accurate Data Log Completion
Maintain cleanliness of laboratory
Keep post-processing glassware clean and ready for use
Clean extraction equipment
Waste preparation and removal
Additional tasks as needed

Qualifications and Education :

Experience in cannabis extraction.

Knowledge of different strains of cannabis and concentrates

Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Good documentation, inventory, and organization skills.

Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing and warehouse environment.

Able to lift and move up to 70 pounds.

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Must be at least 21 yrs of age.

Must be able to obtain a state-issued processing badge, which includes passing a background check.
