Kendrick Clinic | Patient Services Representative (Full time)

Job Summary:

Gritman Medical Center is seeking a Patient Services Representative I to join our Kendrick Clinic team. This role is vital to ensuring exceptional patient care and service by performing clerical and administrative tasks aligned with clinic and hospital policies, federal/state regulations, and HIPAA guidelines. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator with excellent organizational abilities who thrives in a dynamic healthcare environment. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Duties:

• Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Answer phone calls promptly and monitor call queues.
• Schedule patient appointments accurately.
• Register and update patient accounts with quality data entry.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collect copays and outstanding balances; balance the cash drawer daily.
• Keep the reception area organized and welcoming.
• Assist with chart preparation and resolve patient concerns/complaints.
• Use clinic systems to support patient workflows.
• Perform opening and closing tasks for the clinic.

Qualifications:

Required:

Preferred:

• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of cash drawer balancing and message taking.
