Job Summary:
The HR Specialist is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, supporting other team members on a variety of tasks, and performing the daily duties of HR operations to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential, as you will be handling sensitive information, coordinating multiple tasks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Attention to Detail:
- Ensure all HR documentation is accurate and up to date, minimizing errors and discrepancies.
- Review and verify employee paperwork and ensure all necessary documents are completed and filed properly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Organize and manage HR documentation, including personnel files and onboarding materials.
- Coordinate HR projects and activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
- Support the HR team with various projects and tasks as needed.
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Manage office supplies and inventory, placing orders and restocking as necessary.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs for office equipment and facilities.
Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Licenses and/or Certifications:
SHRM-CP or PHR certifications preferred
Work Experience:
Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is a plus but not required.
- Provides a positive and professional representation of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software.
