We have an immediate opening for a Warehouse Operation Supervisor in our Bellingham, WA facility.
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor oversees all warehouse operations as a hands-on leader, serving and motivating warehouse employees, leading by example, and fostering a positive team-building atmosphere. The candidate will supervise and continuously improve all inbound, outbound, and internal inventory movement. This person will work closely with the National Distribution Manager and Assistant Warehouse Manager in our Missouri facility.
Job Responsibilities :
- Supervision, training, and direct assistance of warehouse operations which include, but not limited to, loading / unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking, and inventory control.
- Leading by example to ensure that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed.
- Drive an efficient and motivated workforce by providing effective coaching, feedback, and encouragement.
- Complete and deliver employee documentation, training, and performance reviews.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels by leading regular physical cycle counts with warehouse teams and reconcile discrepancies with the warehouse inventory system.
- Ensure a culture of safety by enforcing safety standards and adhering to standard operational procedures.
- Measure and report KPIs and operational metrics to the National Distribution Manager on a weekly basis.
