About the role

We are looking for a QA Manager to lead and develop quality assurance strategies, policies, and systems to ensure the highest standards of product and service excellence. This individual will lead quality initiatives across the organization and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

This role is hybrid with a requirement to be onsite at our Dallas location three days a week.

In this role, you will :

Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive Quality Assurance Program.
Establish objective, documented quality standards for our gummy products to meet and exceed industry expectations.
Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to align on quality controls, ensuring consistency and adherence to standards.
Lead efforts to meet external quality audit requirements, including NSF Certification, Eurofins Testing, Clinical Studies, and BVB.
Ensure ongoing compliance with FDA regulations for Dietary Supplements (21 CFR part 111) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Provide leadership and guidance to teams on inspection readiness, including hosting and participating in regulatory inspections.
Facilitate routine Quality Management Reviews with senior leadership.

We're looking for someone who :

Has 5 years of quality assurance experience in the supplement industry.

Possesses a strong understanding of FDA regulations for Dietary Supplements (21 CFR part 111).

Has extensive knowledge of GMPs and FDA guidelines for manufacturing supplement products.

Is a strategic thinker who balances quality control processes with business priorities.

Is results-driven and detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering exceptional products and mitigating risks.

Demonstrates collaborative and communicative skills, fostering alignment across teams and suppliers.

Ability to deliver in a fast paced, small company environment and adjust workload based on shifting priorities and needs

Bonus points for :

History of success managing inspections performed by regulatory authorities

Previous experience in a direct-to-consumer (D2C) startup environment.

Prior experience with supplement gummy products.
