*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated Deli Lead to join our team! The Deli Lead position is a leadership position that requires the ability to plan, organize, and deliver positive results based on multiple factors characteristic to the retail industry. The Deli Lead must multi-task in a fast-paced environment, provide superior customer service, train and lead others, and engage in a moderate to high level of physical activity.
A Deli Lead’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
*Perform accurate daily receiving of product deliveries.
*Monitor and organize all backroom activity for a systematic process of product movement from Truck to Shelf.
*Verify product quality and quantity received compared to Transfer, document and communicate any overs, shorts, or quality credits to Owner/Operator.
*Systematically rotate and stock and lead others to rotate and stock all Deli loads in a clean, organized fashion.
*Perform daily quality checks of product to maintain maximum freshness and quality on display.
*Execute price changes as required.
*Support price integrity with daily updates of shelf tags and signage.
*Diligently follow the established food safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
*Perform any and all duties in any department or capacity as needed to fulfill the needs of the business.
*Communicate effectively and respectfully with all personnel, and both internal and external customers.
*Uphold all policies and procedures as outlined in the policies and procedures manual.
*Protect the goodwill and reputation of the Grocery Outlet Brand and the Independent Owner/Operator.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
