Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and handle all transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and addressing their inquiries.
- Process payments efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
- Communicate effectively with customers to promote products and services, including upselling items when appropriate.
- Assist in product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
- Manage stock levels by restocking shelves as needed and ensuring products are displayed attractively.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to assist customers effectively.
- Collaborate and navigate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the retail environment.
- Cashout cashiers
- Communicate with Store manager
- Assign breaks
- Assisting on finding solutions for team members and customers
- Making sure that all departments are ready for the next day
- Supervising and navigating the team members working on a shift
Requirements
- Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members positively.
- Basic understanding of retail math to handle transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn about products and engage in product demos effectively.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Ability to learn different systems and technology

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
