Position Purpose:
LCNB National Bank is seeking a Consumer Loan Closing Supervisor. This position is responsible for ensuring loan documents match the approved loan terms and comply with federal, state and company operational standards. This role will work closely with members of the lending team, senior management, and other department leadership to ensure quality and timely completion of loan requests meet company benchmarks. The Consumer Loan Closing Supervisor will be responsible for coaching and developing associates and will possess exceptional leadership qualities and strong lending knowledge to effectively perform all duties.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Oversee & manage the daily operations of the Consumer Closing Team providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct supervisory responsibilities for the Consumer Closing Team, including but not limited to reviewing and approving timecards; coordinating vacation schedules; participating in the hiring process; preparing direct reports performance evaluations
- Train, coach, and develop Consumer Closing staff
- Oversee department procedures and maintain internal resource materials
- Review documents to ensure each loan meets standards and compliance requirements
- Ensure all loan documents are prepared in a timely and efficient manner, in accordance with company policy and procedure
- Stay informed and updated on industry changes, ensuring company policies and procedures are updated accordingly
- Additional duties as assigned
Required Competencies/Skills:
- 2 years’ leadership/supervisory experience
- 2 years loan experience with knowledge and understanding of RESPA (Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act), TRID (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosures) and all federal regulations and timelines related to real estate lending
- Knowledge and understanding of federal regulations regarding Flood Disaster Protection Act
- High school diploma or equivalent
