Job Purpose
This position supports the Recruiting Department with various pre-employment and onboarding processes while working simultaneously with the Talent Office to facilitate a smooth employee onboarding hiring process
Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Answering Recruiting Line calls
- Responding to general Recruiting Email inquiries
- Update applicant information in necessary systems when required.
- Working with partial applicant candidates to complete full application
- Ensuring DOT application is complete according to all DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Ensuring DOT verification of employment is started and completed in line with the DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Assisting Driver Placement Specialists with Re-engagement Campaigns when needed
- Constantly review hires in progress to ensure fluidity of process, auditing to ensure compliance with Company & DOT policies / procedures.
- Gain and maintain knowledge and understanding of DOT regulations, industry trends, current best practices, and new developments regarding recruiting resources
- Ability to travel to and from the corporate office to terminal and other facility locations.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
