What are the responsibilities and job description for the 7-12 Ag Science Instructor/Teacher position at Groom ISD?
Groom ISD is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic teacher to lead our Secondary Ag-Science Program for the 2025-2026 school term. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and well versed in maintaining and growing an Ag-FFA Program in a small school setting. They must be knowledgeable in multiple aspects of the Ag-FFA world including, Stock Showing (Lambs, Goats, Pigs, and Cattle), and AG CDE and LDE Programs. They should understand small school settings and the need to coordinate with multiple programs and activities to achieve their program objectives while promoting all the programs within our school system. Groom has a thriving program with a new, state-of-the-art Ag Barn, Shop, and Classroom. A valid Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsement and the appropriate TEA Bus Driver Training Certification is also a requirement for the position. Preference given to qualified candidates possessing full state certification.
