What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director Financial Analysis & Reporting position at Groome Industrial Service Group Inc?
Groome Industrial Service Group is a growing company located in Denville, NJ, providing specialty maintenance services nationwide for several industries including natural gas-fired power generation, shipping, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and aerospace. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the analysis of financial statements and monthly reporting to senior management and the Board of Directors. This is a full-time exempt position.
Responsibilities :
- Review and analyze monthly Income Statements, including Revenue and Gross Profit for Groome Holdings and Service Lines.
- Prepare job costing analysis for all Groome companies.
- Prepare, consolidate and analyze current month Selling, General and Administrative expenses.
- Prepare quarterly projection of Selling / General / Administrative expenses based on actual activity and expected activity.
- Prepare monthly Balance Sheet fluctuation analysis for Groome Holdings and subsidiaries.
- Responsible for maintaining and using the Groome consolidation software monthly.
- Support business combination activities as needed.
- Responsible for accounting and reporting of Fixed Assets.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, as needed.
- Prepare annual budgets and projections.
- Ensure accounting is in accordance with GAAP and that accounting records are maintained accurately and in compliance with laws and regulations.
- Support outside audits.
- Ad hoc projects, as needed.

Pay : $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
