Roles And Responsibilities
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Interact with customers to understand their automotive service needs and provide exceptional service experiences.
- Resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely and accurate customer communication regarding service updates, estimates, and completion times.
- Service Department Operations:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow management, and ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Monitor and maintain service quality standards to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Collaborate with technicians to prioritize and schedule service appointments.
- People Development:
- Lead in the training and development of service department staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Provide leadership and guidance to service advisors and technicians, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- You have at least three years of experience in automotive service operations, focusing on customer service.
- You have strong leadership and people management skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop a team.
- You have exceptional communication, organization, and follow-up skills that result in retaining customers and staff.
- You know automotive systems, parts, and service processes.
- You are proficient in computer systems and software relevant to automotive service management.
- You have the proven ability to coach, motivate, lead, and develop advisors and technicians.
- You have experience exceeding customer expectations on quality and are focused on retention for returning business.
- You can help maintain our Honesty, Integrity, and Passion reputation.
- Automotive service writer experience (3 years)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
- Authorized to work in the United States
