Overview of Position
Groove Technology Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Technology – Digital Infrastructure to join our team. This individual will serve as both the Director of Technology and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our Digital Infrastructure team. They will lead efforts in designing, specifying, and implementing advanced wired and wireless infrastructure solutions while supporting sales teams in project scoping and cost estimation.
What you’ll own
- Design and specification of materials for wired and wireless infrastructures (e.g., fiber, GPON, CAT5/6/7, Coaxial, hardline, PtP, PtmP, Private LTE, DAS).
- Training departments on relevant technologies and processes.
- Developing relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and other technical experts.
- Supporting sales teams in developing project scopes, wiring diagrams, and cost estimates.
- Acting as a technical SME for the Digital Infrastructure category.
- Meeting weekly goals and KPIs, and maintaining proficiency in Salesforce, Procore, and Bluebeam.
Experience and skills you’ll have
- RCDD certification (preferred).
- Minimum 4 years experience designing, installing, and testing low voltage systems in the construction industry.
- Strong background in low-voltage cable infrastructure.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce), blueprint reading, and digital construction tools (Bluebeam, Procore).
- Experience creating quotes, budgets, and quoting calculators for digital infrastructure.
- Proven ability to meet KPIs and manage construction-related software.
