What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Hand position at Gross Electric Inc.?
We are looking for a Shop Hand to work as part of a team. This position would be at our main warehouse, but would require driving to jobsites as well. This position will also include general laboring with multiple different crews as needed.
Job Description
- Maintain a clean and organized shop. This includes following an inventory system.
- Load and unload trucks and process the material or equipment that returns with it.
- Identify any damaged or missing goods and record pertinent information
- Make sure that all units are tagged and labeled properly using the appropriate lot and item numbers
- Isolate and report any broken or damaged goods immediately
- Ability to work on your feet all day.
- Work with a team as a laborer on multiple different projects.
- Ability to work with our warehouse team, excavation crew, landscaping crew or alone.
- CDL license is a plus.
- Attention to individual and team safety.
- Ensure compliance with all Company policies, procedures and laws, including health and safety standards.
- Valid drivers license is required.
- Pay is based on experience.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
