We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of our company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. This is a vital position within our organization, as you will play a key role in maintaining financial records and ensuring timely payments and collections.
```Responsibilities```
- Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies
- Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies
- Prepare and process accounts receivable invoices, ensuring timely billing to customers
- Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up on outstanding balances
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
- Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding billing or payment issues
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to financial transactions
```Experience```
- Previous experience in public accounting or a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Workday or QuickBooks is required
- Strong 10-key typing skills for accurate data entry
- Familiarity with Paycom or other payroll processing systems is a plus
- Knowledge of technical accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
