Ground Up Construction Recruiting has teamed up with a local general contractor in Topeka, KS to help them hire a Superintendent with ground up experience.
They currently do around $30M a year with 20% being ground up and 80% interior remodels. Their goal over the next several years is to grow their ground up side and that starts with this hire. About 50% of their projects are healthcare and the rest consist of industrial, retail, education, and offices.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee internal and external construction crews throughout the duration of projects
- Maintain and document daily field reports, two week look-aheads and safety reports
- Develop an intimate understanding of the project drawings, specifications and site conditions
- Track the project schedule and communicate progress to PM's and ownership, and find ways to accelerate the project schedule where possible
- Ensure that workers have proper training and PPE
- Build relationships and trust with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time and in line with budget
- Ensure that the owner's needs are met or exceeded at all times throughout the project to ensure relationships are continually developed
