Job Title: Product Development Internship
Job Summary:
Our Product Development team is seeking summer interns to join a 6-week ON-SITE, project-based program from June 2nd, 2025 – July 11th, 2025 (35 hours per week). During this internship, you will be placed on the Product Development team and work closely with other departments such as Design, Quality Control, and Manufacturing. You’ll be involved in product development processes, support cross-functional teams, and help solve product-related challenges. Your role will be tailored based on your background and interests, which will be determined during the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the team in researching and recommending improvements for sample execution and timely product development of footwear and related products.
Utilize tools, processes, and reports to improve all areas of Product Development and Quality Control. - Understand harmonized tariff codes and restrictions to assist in footwear construction to meet duty standards.
- Support aesthetic Quality Control sample reviews and recommend improvements.
Maintain and update U.S. quality control reports to track partner compliance with quality expectations. - Communicate QC issues and findings with various departments to ensure transparency with customers and licensing partners.
- Research customer and licensing partner standards to ensure compliance.
- Maintain and update sample development timeline reports to avoid delays.
- Use technical detail spreadsheets and “tech packs.”
- Track deadlines for samples, licensor, and customer due dates; communicate potential delays to align with production schedules.
- Communicate necessary product revisions across departments to ensure accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completed coursework in or similar to:
- Product Development
- Fashion Design
- Some experience or demonstrated interest in footwear product development.
QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)
- Currently be enrolled in an undergraduate program (graduation date later than August 2025)
- Have proven proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have strong, proven potential leadership skills
- Have excellent attention to detail
Hourly Rate: $16.50 Per Hour
