Grounds for Hounds Veterinary Clinic is a fun-loving, service-obsessed team that is changing the typical workplace experience in a vet clinic. Working for fun, enjoying the patients and clients, and developing real relationships with people and their pets- that's what we do! We function on an appointment-based schedule, allowing us to focus on the people and pets that are coming in to see us. We want to be doing this for a long time and desire that for all of our staff members. Getting worked to the bone and burning out is a thing of the past! This is a full-time position, with hours scheduled during normal business hours, Monday-Saturday. Our ideal candidate would be someone who is kind, eager, committed, and fun-loving! Our motto of “best is the standard” is how we approach each and every client and patient on a daily basis. We have a friendly, supportive staff and would love to have you join us! Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and check-in clients and their pets with a warm and welcoming demeanor.

- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar.

- Handle client inquiries, provide information about services, and assist with payment processing.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient records.

- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

- Assist with minor administrative tasks, such as filing and correspondence.

- Collaborate with veterinary staff to provide excellent patient care and support.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a veterinary or medical office setting is preferred but not required.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency with office software and basic computer skills.

- A genuine love for animals and a compassionate approach to client interactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 – 39 per week
