SEO Content Writer

The SEO Content Writer’s primary role will be to research industry-related topics and produce blog articles for the Groundworks brands, and to provide other forms of engaging, accurate, and useful website content to our target audience. The right candidate will have a proven track record of writing ranking content, a grasp of SEO best practices, and an eye for clear, concise, and cohesive writing.

This role can be fully remote with the expectation of on-site meetings in Virginia Beach, VA, once a quarter.

What You'll Do:

• Research industry-related topics to create content that is optimized for search engine visibility and relevant to the target audience.
• Write clear, persuasive, original copy with a distinct brand voice.
• Develop content that is SEO-friendly, using the relevant keywords and phrases.
• Review and edit existing content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Ensure content is optimized for SEO, using the appropriate keywords, tags, and meta descriptions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or other related fields.
• Proven experience as an SEO Content Writer.
• An obsession with clear, concise writing.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and keyword research.
• Proven skills in blogging, web and media content.
• Creating high-value content for our brand websites and blogs.
