- As an IT Specialist, you will provide technical assistance to users by troubleshooting hardware and software issues and ensuring the smooth operation of the organization's technology infrastructure. You will be the first software support tier, offering end users training and support on proper system and application usage. This role is pivotal in identifying the root causes of technical issues, recommending improvements, and ensuring that end users have access to immediate system support.
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees across the organization for hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical problems related to systems, applications, and hardware.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand IT needs and provide solutions to improve workflow efficiency.
- Create and maintain user documentation and provide training to staff on IT-related tools and systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and recommend preventive measures.
- Provide excellent customer service and support, maintaining clear communication throughout the troubleshooting and resolution process.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and data protection regulations.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field (completed or pursuing).
- Experience in the property management industry or with property management software systems is a plus.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Previous experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
- Exposure to SQL or an interest in learning SQL.
