This is a part-time role at 20 hours per week.
The Finance Intern is a part time, summer internship position which works cross functionally through the Finance department at GHC-SCW. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and, budgeting, and business operations within the care delivery and insurance industries.

Job Specific Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality required. Knowledge of medical records and appropriate documentation requirements. Knowledge of HIPAA requirements.
- Ability to be a team player in a team-oriented environment. Ability to interact with staff at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to speak and listen in person and on the phone.
