Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Contract Air Ambulance Flight Nurse RN to join our team in Southern Florida. As a Flight Nurse, you will provide critical care to patients during air medical transports, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the flight.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients during air ambulance flights
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments as needed
- Collaborate with the flight team to ensure safe and efficient patient transport
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in pre-flight briefings and post-flight debriefings
- Ensure all medical equipment is properly maintained and ready for use
- Ongoing annual and quarterly training
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 3 years of critical care or emergency nursing experience
- Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) certification, desired
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Current Passport
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in high-stress environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Drug Screen And background check required
- Available within a 45-minute drive from FLL International Airport
