Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the Banking and Financial domain . The ideal candidate should have recent project experience involving banks and possess a deep understanding of front-office operations. This role requires direct engagement with traders to gather and relay critical business requirements to software developers .
The candidate must exhibit excellent communication skills and the energy to match the fast-paced trading environment .
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as a liaison between traders (Front Office) and Software Developers .
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from front-office teams.
- Ensure accurate translation of business needs into technical specifications.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between business and IT teams .
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend system improvements or enhancements.
- Provide insights into trading workflows, risk management, and settlement processes .
- Utilize SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain scripts to support automation and efficiency.
- Leverage Excel for data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
- Assist in planning and implementing banking / financial projects .
- Participate in system testing, validation, and user training .
- Troubleshoot and resolve business process and system-related issues .
- Provide second-line support for complex technical problems.
