Description
Omni-Serv partners with the passenger airlines industry and carrier services to perform various aviation roles. We are seeking licensed security professionals to secure enclosures within the terminal areas of John F. Kennedy International Airport. A candidate who can maintain a professional demeanor, is a team player, and has a positive and “can do” attitude.
Scope of Work:
Performs all duties of monitoring and escorting non-bagged visitors and personnel while in controlled access areas (CAA) or in other locations within the airport facilities and grounds. Security Escorts are responsible for making sure no sensitive material leaves the site and no unauthorized persons enter.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for escorting all non-badged visitors, personnel, and/or contractors performing work in secure areas of the airport as directed by the supervisor
- Supervises the movement of tools and materials being brought into controlled access areas, ensuring all items are cleared by designated security personnel before entry
- Ensure access points are secured
- Prepare and submit incident reports of any work-related problems or security incidents to the appropriate sections
Requirements
- Active Guard Card (New York State Security Guard License)
- Must be willing to work variable shifts
- Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
- Must be able to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Previous security experience is preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable working in inclement weather
- The ability to stand or walk for prolong periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Some weekends required) Work Shift to be determined
Compensation: $19.75 p/h
