As an Assistant Superintendent , you will play a pivotal role in constructing our state-of-the-art chemical manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, coordinating contractors and construction / project managers, ensuring safety and quality, and managing and enforcing adherence to scope, schedule and budget. An assistant superintendent is generally responsible for :
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING :
- Assist Construction managers and MEP Managers with overseeing all aspects of the construction site, including schedule, contractors and subcontractors, safety, materials, and equipment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with expectations from initiation to completion.
- Ensure subcontractor and vendor compliance with the overall site safety program and all applicable safety codes and regulations.
- Review various building system trades installation progress for compliance with drawings, specifications, quality and schedule.
- Identify schedule risks and opportunities and communicate them to the project team.
- Support the development of daily and weekly plans, track deliverables, and report on progress.
- Monitor progress and resolve on-site challenges to maintain project timelines and quality expectations.
- Utilize project management and scheduling tools to forecast, identify and address project risks and opportunities and manage change over the project's lifecycle.
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and approved schedules.
- Monitor project safety protocols and address potential hazards to maintain a safe work environment.
- Work with the Construction Manager and MEP Managers to Report on project progress to management and relevant project stakeholders.
- Maintain clear documentation, including daily logs, incident reports, and quality control records.

The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. All positions come with a bonus plan and company stock options. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.
