GroupC Digital is looking for a Digital Strategist who can join the team and make an immediate impact.
Through our customer-focused approach to digital media management, we provide above-and-beyond customer service to agencies, advertisers, and media-buying professionals. Digital Strategists at GroupC Digital enjoy the opportunity to gain deep insight into the online advertising world and growth through continued education in the workplace.
Candidates for this position must possess a background in digital advertising and/or marketing, a passion for technology and comfortability with data and numbers. The ideal candidate has experience with digital ad buying platforms and/or advertising metrics. This candidate may have experience at an advertising agency in client services or digital media buying/planning.
The position is directly responsible for developing and presenting digital media plans, reporting and analysis, onboarding new business, and will be hands-on creating orders with our programmatic partners. The ideal candidate will have experience with programmatic advertising campaigns and is comfortable recommending campaign changes, based on data and trends, that align with the client’s key performance indicators. Candidate must be located in Des Moines, IA metro and have the ability to work during normal business hours weekdays and be able to meet local clients in person as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship and act as the lead point of contact for a specific group of clients
- Set-up and monitor programmatic and social advertising campaigns and associated campaign tracking using google tag manager on behalf of clients
- Respond to client questions and requests in a timely manner
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all activities on the client’s behalf
- Identify any issues before the client does and provide solutions to strengthen client partnerships and ROI
- Take part in pitches for new contracts
- Continuously offer unsolicited ideas to increase the effectiveness of the client’s marketing initiatives
- Contribute to GroupC Digital’s profitability through good project management
- Stay abreast of new solutions and opportunities within the ad tech space
- Seek growth opportunities within agency partnerships by keeping a forward-thinking mindset
- And other duties as needed to evolve this position

- Analyze, interpret, and present campaign performance in a clear, concise manner while providing customer guidance and strong, strategic recommendations to our clients
- Regularly attend client meetings in person or via video conference to discuss campaign performance and optimizations.
- Manage and strengthen customer relationships
- Work with client and internal team to develop media plans and proposals
- Develop solutions to solve clients’ specific problems within digital workflow and digital media
- Initiate, coordinate, and implement all company activities on behalf of the client
- Work with colleagues to launch and update campaigns
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in a digital marketing or analytics role, with a focus on digital media planning, buying and/or strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Google Ads campaign management, Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
- Comfortably navigate Google Analytics, Paid Social Channels, DSPs, Tag Manager, and related technology
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Intelligence Cloud (Datorama) and Google Campaign Manager 360 preferred
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- High level of curiosity and interest in digital marketing attribution and performance analysis.
Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex data insights to stakeholders.
