Landscape Foreman

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to lead our landscaping team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for lawn care, groundskeeping, and landscape maintenance. As a Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role requires hands-on involvement in various tasks including supervising team members, maintaining gardens, and caring for trees.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the landscaping crew to ensure efficient workflow.
• Lead by example in performing lawn care, tree care, and landscape maintenance tasks.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients through effective communication and quality service.
• Train new employees on proper techniques for groundskeeping and equipment usage.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed on-site to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to management.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscaping or groundskeeping roles, with a focus on leadership.
• Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, tree care practices, and landscape maintenance.
• Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license is preferred for transportation of crew and equipment.
• A passion for gardening and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
