SUMMARY: The Relationship Manager is responsible for being the liaison between customers and the sales team to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products and services. A Relationship Manager will manage and develop customer accounts to initiate and maintain favorable relationships with our customers. This role will require daily travel within the state of New Hampshire. The position provides a base salary plus monthly bonus potential along with a company vehicle, gas card and company credit card.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand and embody the company’s Mission, Vision, and Values, acting as an ambassador for these principles.
- Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising, or any other means of generating interest from potential clients.
- Able to plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with our company
- Develop rapport with new clients, set targets for sales, and provide support that will continually improve the relationship
- Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting innovative solutions and services to clients.
- The position will require you to work with mid and senior level management, marketing, and technical staff
- May manage the activities of other team members responsible for developing business for the company at the direction of the Sales Manager and/or Director of Sales.
- Strategic planning will be a large part of the role to ensure success for the Business Development team.
- Able to handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive solution
- Set up meetings between client decision makers and our company’s leaders
- Attend to industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and ability to provide feedback and information on market and trends
- Able to present and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-4 years of experience in a territory or field sales/account manager role
- Demonstrate ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Able to network, speak in public, close deals, while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- The right candidate for this position understands that the majority of the selling and relationship building will occur in the field or onsite at client/customer locations
Preferred Requirements:
- A basic understanding of the charitable gaming industry is helpful but not required
- Bachelor’s Degree
