What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sanitation Supervisor Food Manufacturing Plant position at Growing Food Company?
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in the supervision a crew of nearly 35, this member of our team will be responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of the machinery and facility from earlier food manufacturing as well the administration of group for items like counseling and attendance along with the supervisor. Carries out supervisory responsibilities, ie: rewarding and disciplining Team Members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Interviewing, hiring, and training Team Members
- Guide and assure team compliance with SQF certification
. Ensure compliance with corporate standards and systems to monitor food safety and facility cleanliness.
- Ensure the Sanitation department is OSHA compliant and is responsible for safety and welfare of the Team Members.
- Supervise all Team Members for safety adherence,
- Ensure cleaning and sanitizing procedures are completed in compliance with daily/weekly/monthly/ quarterly, semiannual and annual Preventive Maintenance's (PM's), in accordance with the facilities Master Sanitation Schedule.
- Participate in objective setting, plan development and performance reviews
Requirements include:
· Previous experience in food plant sanitation is a must.
· Must understand GMPs and the use of cleaning chemicals
· Computer literacy a must
· Prior experience in a similar role
· Must be bilingual, English/Spanish.
· Must be detail oriented
· HACCP Certification a major plus!
HOURS: 1130 P- 730AM, Monday through Friday
Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
