Job Title: Account Executive – Maintenance & Projects
About the Role: As a Sales Professional, you'll play a dual role, driving sales growth in HVAC preventive maintenance agreements and HVAC project solutions. Your focus will be on developing relationships and securing new business within the commercial market, identifying opportunities for equipment replacements, upgrades, and comprehensive service contracts.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Prospecting new clients and managing existing customer relationships to grow sales of HVAC maintenance agreements and equipment replacement projects.
- Conducting site surveys, preparing detailed estimates, and providing accurate cost analysis and quotations for preventive maintenance contracts and equipment replacement projects.
- Preparing detailed cost estimates, proposals, and supporting documentation to ensure timely and successful contract submissions.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams to finalize pricing, execute proposals, and ensure seamless project handoff to operations.
- Actively participating in local industry associations and events to enhance visibility and network for potential opportunities.
- Continuously updating knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to effectively position company offerings.
About You:
- Minimum 5 years of proven success in HVAC sales or business development, specifically targeting commercial customers.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect and build a robust sales pipeline through multiple channels (networking, cold calling, referrals).
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, with ability to accurately survey equipment, perform material take-offs, and create compelling estimates.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, coupled with a confident, outgoing personality.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Adept at overcoming objections, closing sales, and achieving ambitious targets in a competitive market.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years in HVAC sales, particularly selling service contracts or HVAC project solutions.
- Proven success in direct business development and consultative sales.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; further education or HVAC-specific training beneficial.
