What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Assistant Teacher position at Growing Learners child care center?
Growing Learners is searching for a part time teacher 20 hours per week. (Options to add hours during breaks)
Floating teachers: This position will part time. Candidates will work on our teaching teams as a support to the primary caregivers. You will cover planning time, lunch breaks, and vacation days. This is a great entry level position for someone who is considering teaching and wants to learn more about the field. This is also a great fit for someone attending college or high school and is looking for hours that work with their school schedule. We are able to change the hour each semester to match your new schedule.
Growing Learners provides educational opportunities for our staff and pays for training, the CDA program (teaching certification for the ECE field), and scholarships towards college degrees.
All team members receive a monthly bonus that is a minimum of $240 dollar per month through July 2025.
A successful candidate will enjoy teaching young children, working as part of a team, and have good communication skills.
