Purchasing Director

Job Overview
Honolulu Meat Co LLC is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to oversee and manage purchasing for our organization. This role will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the seamless operation of the supply chain. The ideal candidate will also lead projects focused on continuous improvement and cost reduction, while staying up-to-date on industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the associated spend and supplier relationships
• Develop, maintain, and refine sourcing strategies to align with organizational goals and market conditions
• Lead negotiations and manage the contract process
• Ensure purchase info records are consistently updated and local materials management aligns with pricing agreements for purchase orders
• Act as the point of contact for site-specific needs related to supply and suppliers; expedite raw material shipments and provide support during emergency situations to ensure procurement does not become a bottleneck.
• Support local procurement teams with invoicing issues and the setup of new vendors
• Collaborate to develop reports and presentations
• Perform tasks as required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum of five years of experience in procurement and supply chain management
• Proven track record in supplier management, contract negotiation, and developing sourcing strategies
• Experience with pricing, invoicing, and managing procurement systems
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and manage internal relationships
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to lead projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
