About the Role:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Group Growth Leaders to join our School Age Program at Growing Minds Youth Development II in Bronx, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and contribute to their growth and development in a fun and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with children in group activities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate and stimulating activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the program
- Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members
- Assist with homework and provide academic support
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with children in a group setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a positive and nurturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
