Construction Coordinator - Your Job Duties:

You will work alongside the team of Project Managers and Estimators, mentoring with them to learn more about Estimating and support bids and projects.

• Organize and maintain bid calendar
• Organize and maintain all estimating and project plan folders
• Review and distribute all incoming faxes to appropriate departments
• Create and maintain pre-bid file system (OneNote)
• Upload relevant project information to pre-bid file system (OneNote)
• Download and file plans, schedules, soils reports, and project documents to appropriate file location
• Upload and maintain plans in plan viewer software (OST) in an organized format
• Request pricing from trade partners regarding specified systems on plans
• Keep Estimating Department informed of relevant changes to project documents as notified by client
• Check bid source files to ensure latest information available prior to bid day
• Perform required take-offs and calculations to assist in creating proper cost estimates
• Upload quantities from plan viewer software (OST) to cost estimate database (TPL)

• You are proficient with a computer (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• You possess the ability to independently troubleshoot and thrive with minimal oversight or resources- when issues arise, you find a solution

• Experience with Microsoft OneNote and On-Screen Takeoff (OST)
• Experience in the construction industry in a project coordinator or related role

Your compensation – $23-$28 per hour, overtime eligible and overtime opportunity exists if you would like to take on additional tasks to earn overtime.

Plus annual incentive compensation potential.

You will work 100% in office in Long Beach, California with a 7am to 4pm schedule.

This role requires successful completion of a drug test and background check prior to start date.
