Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our Sunwarrior team. This brand-focused role will support our Quality department by ensuring that all processes meet rigorous quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across our operations.
Objectives And Responsibilities
- Assist customers by providing approval docs as requested by the Director of Quality Assurance.
- Act as the White Label - Quality Documents Specialist.
- Create finished product specs (FPS).
- Assist with the investigation of customer complaints.
- Interface with customers regarding Quality requirements.
- Oversee the MMR process (creation, approval, use, revision changes).
- Oversee the BPR process (creation, approval, use, revision changes, proper completion, and document retention).
- Review testing results for White Label products and create internal COAs used for product release.
- Conduct Internal Audits (as applicable and with a mentor).
- Conduct effective training (especially for the MMR/BPR process).
- Crosstrain with other Quality Specialists.
- Comply with all Plant, GMP, and NSF requirements.
- Facilitate continuous improvement.
- Maintain a safe work environment and encourage others to do so as well.
- Food and Safety and GMP Training.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by the Director of Quality Assurance.
- Ability to Influence and Aspire Teams.
- Be able to use a computer and scanner efficiently.
- Working knowledge of Lean (Continuous Improvement) principles a plus.
- Be able to communicate with, and work well with, other departments.
- Be helpful and have a teamwork mindset.
- Relevant work experience is required.
- Work Environment:
- Indoor Manufacturing Warehouse.
- Some Lifting may be required.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Full-time position with competitive pay (Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts; some flexibility available).
