Duties
- Payroll Processing: Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time for all employees each pay period, in compliance with company policies.
- Payroll Discrepancies: Collaborate with managers to resolve payroll discrepancies, make corrections as needed, and address employee payroll-related inquiries.
- Reports and Bonuses: Generate payroll reports, including bonuses, commissions, reimbursements, and stipends, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
- Bamboo Account Management: Create and maintain employee payroll accounts within Bamboo, verifying that all required data is entered and up to date.
- Benefits Administration: Oversee the onboarding and offboarding process for employee benefits, initiate deductions, monitor billing accuracy, and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries with the assistance of our benefits administrator.
- Tax Compliance: Process child support orders, tax withholdings, and other deductions in Bamboo, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Please note, while you will not be responsible for filing taxes on behalf of the company, you will collaborate closely with state and federal agencies to obtain necessary tax information. Additionally, you will work alongside Bamboo and our Chief Financial Officer to address any tax-related inquiries.
- Employee Terminations: Manage employee separations by ensuring that pay, benefits, and deductions are adjusted and closed properly.
- Time-Off Adjustments: Approve and adjust time-off requests, including PTO and bonuses, according to company policies and manager instructions.
- Onboarding and Offboarding Assistance: Help onboard new employees into Bamboo and ensure proper time tracking and benefits set up.
- Background Checks: Coordinate and process background checks for new hires, notifying management of any discrepancies.
- Communication: Generate and distribute payroll-related company-wide announcements, ensuring employees are kept informed.
