Job Title : Payroll Specialist
Position Summary :
The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for all tasks related to processing payroll, including collecting timesheets, calculating wages, ensuring compliance, and delivering paychecks accurately and on time. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential to this role
Responsibilities :
- Timecard Review & Verification : Review, audit, and verify timecards and resolve time discrepancies.
- Payroll Processing : Accurately process paychecks and direct deposits in a timely manner.
- Employee Queries : Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees.
- Payroll Deadlines : Meet strict deadlines to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Final Paychecks : Process final paychecks in compliance with multi-state final pay laws.
- Multi-State Payroll : Experience with multi-state payroll preferred.
- Additional Duties : Perform other duties as assigned.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
