Due to continued growth, we are actively seeking qualified Fire Alarm Inspectors to support our Oak Creek, WI team. As a Fire Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of buildings and facilities with fire codes and regulations. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough inspections of fire protection systems, including fire sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers, and emergency exits.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ensure customers are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality courteous service, and by applying experience, knowledge, training and great communication.
- Thoroughly complete inspections in a timely manner as scheduled and interface with Inspection Coordinator to ensure that the customer receives the work per proposed scope.
- Utilizes an online scheduling system to receive and understand the individual scheduled tasks, customer locations, and maintain other company documents as required (timesheets, safety audits, etc.)
- Maintain positive customer relationships and review inspection results with customer.
- Turn in required paperwork at completion of each work order
- Use of phone and computers, tablets to process daily inspection reports
- Provide detailed feedback on deficiencies and necessary repairs.
- Maintain equipment, supplies and company vehicle in good working order.
- Stay current with code requirements, industry changes, and obtain NICET certifications.
- Desire to cross train and learn other life safety fields - sprinkler systems - special hazards
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- The Fire Alarm Inspector will be responsible for performing regular inspections, testing, service, and preventive maintenance on electrical, fire alarm and other related systems.
- Candidates should have a working knowledge of fire safety and electrical systems and be able to ensure that they are in good working order.
- The role of the Fire Alarm Inspector is crucial in maintaining the safety of our properties and the individuals within them by ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
